What To Do With A Pregnant Angelfish?

by fish123

I know just about zilch when it comes to breeding fish so I'm looking for some advice here. I have a pregnant angelfish and I'm not sure if she should be moved to another tank or if the babies should be moved to another tank. Won't the babies be eaten by other fish? I'd like to avoid that if possible. :?

Has your fish laid her eggs yet?

Probably what would be best if you want to avoid any chance of the eggs being eaten is to remove the other fish (either into another tank or use a divider if possible) instead of the parents. But that's just me. I'd be worried about stressing the parents out. I've heard stressed parents can eat the eggs but I don't know how likely that is if the eggs aren't under immediate threat e.g. being preyed upon by other fish.
