Well I tried in a 30 gallon first only one male 3 females with just a couple damasoni and a chinese algae eater. The male was one I've grown for awhile. Surprised I even found him. Then I split a breeding group (which I shouldn't have done) and kept that male in the big tank. That went on for 3 months or better. Long enough to have fry. My big tank is always breeding so I don't think over crowding is a factor there. I just need to research this one. I guess just throwin a stud and some sluts together just aint gonna work:(. I love these fish seen where they are on the endangered list supposedly idk. I love them and there are none around here....see where I'm goin.
