A friend of mine has a 15 gal. with a tiny pleco, marbel molly, 3 african frogs.

The tank obvously has ich. I told him to treat the ich. But it also has a lot of large clusters of stuff that looks liek clear alge just floating on the bottem of the tank. Some of these clusters have what looks like a pea sized ball surrounded by long hair like fingers comming out of the ball.

Ive suggested getting a bigger filter for the tank, treating the ich, and cleaning out all the alge looking stuff. Ill try to take pictures and post them.

Im thinking they might be frog eggs.

Good luck. I would love to solve this mistry.

The hairlike gel balls could be either excess food that have moulded up or infertile frog eggs that are moulding up. I've seen this before.

The tank need cleaning by the sounds of it. Then need to be treated for ich, being careful as some pleco can be sensitive to both the store bought treatment and to salt
