I have a 125 gl tank with 3 Gold Severums, 3 Pearl Gouramis, 3 Angles, and 2 Black Jueillans. I want to add more chiclids but I dont want the wrong kind. Can you suggest some that arent mean?

never heard of a Black Jueillan? did you mean Juli? as in Julidochromis?
one of the many types of Geophagus would probably be fine or maybe a Kribensis. you do have a large tank, but there are no guarantees with cichlid behavior. there are standards but just like a dog or people every fish has it's own distinct personality.

I know they can be stinkers. I am not sure if that is the right name or not but I added a pic, they are the black and white stripped ones. I added a pic of the tank too. Its still kinda new. Theres also a pic of the gold sevrums and the angel ram

I do know that juvinille cichlids can be ok. They do get more aggressive and territorial with age.

OK got ride of the serums and angels going with Discus instead. I traded them for a huge bag of plants, both of my tanks look way better now. I am waiting for plants to take hold before updating pics

Thanks it looks alot different now. I havent moved any of the pretty plants into the tank yet because it doesn't have CO2 yet. I just put 6 discus in and I'm so excited!! I wont be putting pics up untill it looks better tho.

that is definitely a juldochromis transcriptus. i hope it does alright with your Discus seeing how the discus like a very low PH 6.0 to 6.5 neutral and Tanganyikans like a very high PH 8 to 9 hard. i have had several of these and some have been very docile while a couple have been down right nasty. Discus are docile.
