Buy 65 otto cats.... 1 per gallon.
In 3 days your brown algae will be gone.
After your algae gets eaten all up, make sure you throw a few algae wafers in your tank as so you don't murder them all.
and, if your tank is not cycled properly, I would cut down the ratio of ottos.
Get 20 or 30. They are very small and produce little waste.

agrees

20 and 30 of em is no joke. I say like a school of zebra plecos, or at least a clown pleco.

Ottos are real small half inch in size.... and they do not live long.
They cost about $2 each, they like to school and they are pretty invisible looking.
There waste is minute and they LOVE brown algae.
Plecos are bigger, and become bigger, even a bushy nose pleco.

ottos clean house!
they rule.

depends on what kind of algae you have.
Brown diatoms? Or hair algae?
Tell me what kind of algae you have and I can tell you what fish will help.
