Brown spots on glass and on plastic plants.

by 65gallon

65 gallon tank has been up and running for about three weeks. Cycled with sponge from my 20 gal. tank. Fluval 305 filter, airstone, and fluval 300watt heater. 10 neon tetras and two catfish. Water was clear but has now become cloudy with some brown spots on the glass and decorations. Any suggestions?

It's called algae. You just clean it.

Stingray... take it from here. BTW, check this thread where we told this dude to do a cycle before adding 12 fish to his tank.

Just because you picked up a sponge from another tank and dropped it in your tank means nothing. It does not instantly cycle your tank. You asked for advise last time, got several response saying the same thing and then you decided to do the opposite.

Thats the death muck and you need to bleach everything including your fish with the strongest bleach possible alos you should unplug everything (i.e. filter, aerator, lights0 as soon as possible to prevent an airborne contamination and risk certain death to everyone in your house

ok..... i poured half a gallon of bleach into my tank and unplugged everything. Is one of the symptoms of the airbourne contaminations vomiting because my 5 month old daughter has been puking since the tank had those stupid brown spots. If she is sick from the tank my wife is going to kill me!!!!!!!!!!! She didnt want the tank but I talked her into it saying the kids would really like it.
