Tank occupant moving out soon.

by ChristinaBug2890

So my mistake of not adding enough Yoyo loaches resulted in one picking on the other. I'v deiced to re-locate the bully to a tank where he will be better suited and see how that works out. Should i add more smaller ones to my tank once he's out (lets say 3-4) to school with the smaller one or leave her on her own?

I have khuli loaches and if they're any similar to the yoyo loaches then i would suggest having a minimum of 4 in your tank. They thrive in groups and live together much happier as a community.

Thats what I shall do. I just wasnt sure if the current single one would become the agressor since she'll be a bit larger than the new ones i'll be adding. It may upset the balance again.

What you can possibly do, is to add a few with your smaller loach and let them all group together. Once they seem settled, then add the bully to the group - he will then be the newbie and should be the underdog because there is more of the others even though they are smaller.
