New Tank - wall mounted

by a70m1c

I saw these tanks on ebay, wall mounted. they are an all in one tank in a frame that hangs on the wall. i need a new tank for my shell dwellers as they are expanding.
I live in a unit so i am looking for a very space efficient tank.

Aquarium Spec's:

Size: 1130mm x 650mm x 115mm

Water Capacity: 30 Litres

Gross Weight: 40 kgs

is 115mm wide going to big enough? I dont really think so......
excellent idea thou!

comments?

They are a really ingenious idea those tanks...but I think its questionable as to how stable the environment would be. Worth a try tho I reckon (especially for apartment dwellers like yourself)!

Where does the filter and equipment hide - in the frame work? How easy is it to get to the filter for cleaning?

Im more worried about the filtration on them, can you fit a big enough filter on them to maintain water quality??

As for measurements, multies stay pretty small but I'd say 115mm would be pretty tight. How many multies do you have and how big are they??

I have about 20 multis with males upto 3 - 4cm.
The filter is built into the lid, i have asked manufacturer for further specs.
I don't believe 12cm wide is enough. i would think 15-20cm would be required.

I really really like the idea!

I think i may go with an all in one hexagon tank.

Can any one recommend an all in one tank. I am only looking for something to house about 20 multis.

a 1 foot x 1 foot x 1 foot tank by my calculation would be big enough.
