Hello
I absolutely love uaru.
But they absolutely love eating plants.
Has anyone kept them with plants before?
Any help on how to-or what plant species to use would be appreciated.

I used to have a two of these peaceful guys in with my discus as they come from the same region as discus and like soft acid water. long story short i ended up swapping them at LFS for 2 kribs and another discus. they demolished the plants in my tank....including multiple types of grasses, duck weed, multiple variants of java....and for god sakes they where even eating the drift wood. lol . they are cute and very peaceful but i liked my plants better. i wasent really attached to them as i only purchesed them because they good with discus so it was easy for me to swap them.

I had the same problem!
But--i dont have the heart to get rid of them-
They're all the size of my hand or bigger and very tame!

Fake plants could work-but ive people say that uaru will eat them as well which causes obvious digestive problems
