Why don't so many want to grow plants when some are so easy?

Well I went out to Home Depot today and sure enough I found the bulbs. I also found several units to house the lights. What I might do is construct a shelf over top of my tank. Then I'll attach the light fixture to the shelf. Suspension problem solved. Or I might upgrade the wattage of my current lamp in order to facilitate an upgraded bulb. Thanks for your help peter. Though I might need it again ;)

Hey Karig maybe some of us don't want to grow live plants. Ever think of that.

wow is that serious......if it is wow...why not want your tank as natural as possible ? not every one likes planted tanks....but the people who do, or want to try plants the info is here. and to shop around instead of wasting your money on costly lights that you dont need...

OK freshwaterpleco. A friend of mine has beautiful houseplants that she never has to water and always stay perfect. I guess I'm just a plant freak.
