amazon soward plant
ok i have a massive soward plant in my 55 about a week ago i started sending a thick stem out of the middle that that has other smaller shoots coming off of it and small leaves not in the past week it has shot up a good 15" plus and now the top is probaly an good 6" above the waterline (i have an open top) should i trim it back down below the waterline and also there are no "plantlets" coming off of this stem but would i be able to trim some of it off and replant it into a new plant?

Yeah. Those roots are meant for more substrate pal. Believe it or not the one in my 16gal sent out a ''runner'' with 3 plants on it. Couldn't really find a good place to put them so I gave one away and had to toss the other two -.-
Good luck finding room for another monster. =P
