I wouldn't put too much thought into the rating system. There are people who seem to have nothing better to do than vote everyone else zero.

I'm kind of split on your tank. On one hand the real wood looks really nice and I love the moss, but I think you could do better with composing what you have. I'm not crazy about the red rocks or the hollow log.

Could you take some more pics and show the whole tank? The 2 pics you have seem to have totally different things in it. Are some of those plants artificial?

On the whole I think you're on your way to having a great tank.

some forground plants like hairgras and some anubias would be cool. And as far a fish, I would get some corydoras.

Just the way you set the plants up looks kidn of funny (tall plants look better in the back) and if you dont have the high lighting needs for the hairgrass, just re aranging would look good, and what PeterKarig said, how the rocks look funny, hes probably right.

Group your plants together and then group your rocks together..

well the reason for the hallow logs is the fact that there are two striped ralph cats in there that enjoy them. The rocks were also set up as caves but moved them around.

I have found all my plants at Michaels and Hobby Lobby....just make sure they are all plastic of course. A huge selection and look more realistic. I've also found that if there is plenty of coverage in the tank the fish just seem to be happier. Don't be afraid to get some tall plants for a fuller look.
