Yep. Amazon swords get really big. They make nice cover for filter intakes and as back drop.

I just bought Mondo grass from Petco and I'm hoping it grows well. I was told that it's a terrestrial plant that can grow under water. I have a lot of light, so we'll see.

yeah it is huge.... atleast 24" tall had to add some more gravel to plant it the roots were so big.... it solved my problem on what to do since i took the limestone out of my tank.....covered up the intake for my HOB filter and the powerheads for my UGJ's its awsome just hope i can nurde it back a little bit i would be kinda sad to spend $20 bucks on a plant and not have it recover.

I'm surprized you spent $20 on an Amazon Sword. I've got so many plants that anyone who lives near me can have their pick. I end up using one tank as storage for the extra plants and there is like an ocean of Java Moss in my 60 gallon.

I guess I could mail a bunch of plants to you. You'd somehow have to pay shipping, but if you figure out how it would be easy for me I'll send you 6-7 different kinds of plants. I can give you a buck load of java moss, java fern, some anubias nana and bartari, cambota, and anacharis and you can grow your own jungle pretty quick.

I don't ship things very often, but I guess I could put the plants in a bag with water, and in a box. I'm just very broke right now with about $35 to my name. In a week or so I'll have a bit more $.

A small box like 1/2 the size of a shoe box should be big enough and shouldn't be very expensive.

PM me and we'll discuss this.

Yeah sorry dude I think they ripped you on that. My amazon sword was labeled --- just that for $4 at petsmart and within a month or so at <1wpg it sent out a chain of 4 baby plants. Hasn't done it since but its still surviving. They are beautiful plants. There's actually some in the background of my avatar there..
