i am having trouble with water clarity and would like to know what i could do to get it crystal clear so i can see in all directions. i have tons of carbon and filtration but my water is still hazy. should i buy some clarifier or what. thanks

yeah i rinsed it good but i guess not, all my water params are normal or the same as my old tank. so i dont know what to do, maybe in a few ill change my carbon , any other ideas?

Might be a bacterial bloom. Just continue regular water changes, it should clear up. If this tank is relatively new it would explain the cloudiness. Perhaps your last gravel vacuum (I'm assuming you do this) kicked up a lot of organic waste in the water colum and bacteria is multiplying and feeding on it. It should die off in 72 hours, maybe a bit more..
If it doesn't see if you can get some kind of micro polishing sponge...if you have a HOB filter you can probably only get something I'm talking about if its a larger model.
In any case with regular water changes it should clear up on its own.

yeah its pretty new but i used all my old gravel and wood decorations hoping to make the transfer pretty seemless i was thinking, but thats where i was wrong. i even used and old in tank filter for the week hoping but, maybe ill really get confused if after my next water change it still is cloudy. any other suggestions?
