Description: I am still learning. I have recently upgraded my tank. I have placed red and black pebble rock, synthetic plants, a castle and a broken barrel decoration to provide coverage for the fish. I use an aqua one submerged filter along with an aqua one air pump that is attached to a rectangular air stone placed at the back of the tank. As my aquarium is cold/freshwater I have used API brand tap water conditioner to dechlorinate and detoxify the water. I have also used PETS brand water ager. The green colour of the water is a result of PETS brand multi cure which assists in the prevention and treatment of common freshwater disease.
Advice: At this stage my only advice to those starting out is always listen to people with experience in owning a tank. Don`t always follow the direction of staff members at pet stores who are only there to make money. When in doubt do your research :)
Fish Kept: Yellow comet, yellow goldfish, uncoloured goldfish, white clouds and black moor
Corals/Plants: Synthetic plants
Tank Size: 20 gallons
Quote: Tomorrow will be better than today
About Yourself: I chose to start a fish tank because my young child loves watching the fish in my fathers freshwater aquarium when we go to visit. He is helping me start out and will be helping my along my journey to becoming a fish tank enthusiast

You should think about scale. You have a barrel that is larger than a castle! fish avatar
