bog aquarium, emersed and submersed zones, wild type guppies, seven years without a water change, no water movement (pumps), no heater, relies on humidic distribution of nutrients to emersed zone and capillary action of the wood back wall. the root system in the substrate (flourite gravel and laterite mix) is so dense it oxygenates the substrate and prevents rot in this uncirculated aquarium in a very unique 24 inch sphere. watch 'globe ecosystem' on youtube for details

About Yourself: My hobbies are always unique and a product of intense fixation. If I don't stay busy, boredom may set in then its all down hill from there
Advice: research online is the way to go fish should not be used in small aquariums, but corals of all genera can grow just as well, or better in some cases in them, so this opens up a new way to keep saltwater aquariums provided you build with farmed corals and not wild specimens.
Fish Kept: none, once I have kept a panda goby and a clown goby but none currently, just invertebrates and corals for the micro reef aquarium Corals are fragged as needed, and repositioned as needed in the micro reef to accomodate growth, then eventually it can be fragged and traded off or kept and started over from a small piece. however the method, all positive biomass produced in any reef legitimizes it among any size reef that grows coral. Scaling does not matter.
Plants Kept: In order to position with the large tanks I have this to offer: -As many or more genera of scleractinian corals plated into place, not just recent frags. There are about 20 genera if you count the detail in the pics. -The ability to produce positive biomass in alveoporids and goniporids, notoriously tough corals (the feeding system for the reef does this) -age, in this shot the tank was 1.5 years. The video documents it almost to three and a fair majority of tanks in the contest are under two years so that's unique I guess for tiny reefs genera: -briareum -hydnophora -acropora -mostipora -xenia -favites -tubipora -pachyseris -various zoanthids -blastomussa -palythoa -mushroom discosoma -turbinaria -caulastrea -galaxea -clavularia -acanthastrea -alveopora and gonipora -seny shrimp -boxer crabs -juvenile yellow coral banded shrimp -parazoanthus a. -euphyllia glabrescens -unidentified tunicates and sponges -nassarius snails -assorted gammarid shrimps and live rock bethic fauna such as sabellid worms
