About Yourself: I am a 3D animator that has been an aquarist for about a year... I kept many terrariums in the past 2 years. I was into plants first and it led me from houseplants to keeping terrariums to creating aquariums and paludariums. I spend an average of 10 hours a week keeping up this tank. It is a great joy. Thank you for looking at it. It is an honor to have you view it.
Advice: Let you tank cycle... don't be a victim of new tank syndrome!

Plants Kept: Too many plants to name at the moment. I will fill this in Later. Thanks for being patient.

1 January 2008:
Bought more cherry shrimp. In theory, there should be about 13 of them in there, but I usually see about 6-7 (max). Hoping that they will be able to breed one day. Had to remove a lot of the 'Head and Tail Light' Tetra as they attack the shrimps at times. Surprising behaviour from such a small fish.

Java Moss (Taxiphyllum barbieri) is doing extremely well, as is the mini pelia (Riccardia chamedryfolia) since my Siamese Algae Eater (SAE) vanished from the tank...

About Yourself: Well i have a fish tank that has fish in it and i also like to go fishing. i have had this tank for just over 6 months but have had others in the past. i moved on to tropical so i can have new species of fish and Discover the joy again of fishkeeping.
Advice: If your going to keep fish my advice is actuly to have tropical rather than marine and cold water because goldfish aren't really natural and i dont recommend marine as it is a lot of effort if your a first timer. If starting of with tropical then the fish i recommend are danios, barbs and Goramis. if breeding for the first time then i suggest Live bearers but swordtails are very easy. also if experiencing algae problems i recommend shrimps to clean the algae BUT make sure you feed it as well AND your water has to be perfect because if theirs a small bit of ammonia then it can kill them.
Fish Kept: 2x Bamboo Shrimp 3x Bronze corydoras 2x Rosey Barbs 6x Zebra Danios
Plants Kept: 5x Moss balls and lots of other plants
Tank Size: 11
Description: 50W Heater, 50L Tank,Fluval 105 external filter, 15w Hagen's Glo-Light bulb and use the following Treatment Products. Stress Coat, Stress Zyme, Nutrafin Cycle, Nutrafin Water Conditioner, Api Fresh Water Master Test Kit. Temperature is 27 C And Ph is 7.0
