About Yourself: Im 24, and have been keeping fish since I was 17. I have really only just started geting in to real plants in the past year, and it has quickly taken over my life! I don't know where I would be without all the help I get in the Planted Tank section of www.fishforums.net.
Advice: Don't be afraid to try anything. The worst that will happen is that it doesn't work. Re-group, and try another way.

About Yourself: I had a fish tank when my kids were little, but they were "kid" tanks, with all the colors. A year ago my son gave me his 20 gallon setup and I made it into a natural one, like I had always wanted. The fish bug bit! I then got another tank with Birchardies, then a few weeks ago still another! I can't seem to stop! But I love them so much and they are so fascinating to watch.
Advice: Read all you can about a type of fish you are thinking about! Do your research first!! If you need to keep the Ph high, try putting crushed coral in jars at the back of the tank and mesh bags of it in the filters. Or use as substrate.
