| About Yourself: |
i kept fish years ago,but as a teenager there was other things more important,I got back into it a few years back, and now truly addicted to it,much to my wifes displeasure, I repair Automatic Transmissions for a living, which pays quite well to satisfy my fishkeeping addiction and keep the wife happy,,, |
| Advice: |
Do your homework on everything you are wanting to get and don,t impulse buy as we have all done it and it usually ends in tears, have plenty space for tanks as it,s an addictive hobby and you will always want more, |

Infamy, Infamy the've all got it infamy! |
| About Yourself: |
Just bought a 5ft tank 400litres for some serious cichlid keeping, Severums, Sajicas and Keyholes. A few plants such as anubias nana but more rugged and lots of rock work. Breeding is the aim. |
| Advice: |
Watch the small problems.... if you leave them they grow very fast into unmanagable ones. Make water changes and cleaning an enjoyable exercise not a chore, and get into a routine. |
| Fish Kept: |
4 x baby Sajica Cichlids, 2 x clown loaches, 1 x garra garra, 4 Pristella tetras and three algae eating shrimps. |
| Plants Kept: |
Java moss, anubias nana, crypts, echinodorus bleheri, java fern normal + windelov, rotala and african lotus.
2 x Hagen yeast CO2 units used. |
| Tank Size: |

| Description: |
Juwel Rio 180 with Juwel filter
External Fluval 304 filter
NO CARBON (Causes excessive algae)
4 x 36w T8 standard tubes; Interpet Daylight, Life Glo2, Aqua Relle and JBL Natur
Water is RO with DI using Seachem powder to set correct hardness.
Substarte is Tetra plant and Flourite mixture. |
