well... actually my dad started this while i was very young. so since my childhood iv been near a fish tank. now my dad doesnt have a freshwater fish tank he have a huge salt water tank. i started this hobby by getting a pair of gold fish in a bowl to my wife as a gift. so here im now. i am thinking of making a huge tank now :P |
| Advice: |
do refer to the guides and stuff on the internet. just simply putting the fish in a tank and looking at it is not all. u have to take proper care of the fishes and always keep a look for diseases. |

33 gallon containing African rot wood and a medium sized red rock with a bubble disc placed under the wood. a ceramic air stone releases super NOISY (gonna replace it soon) bubbles behind my plants.
I added a DIY CO2 system to the tank to help my plants out about 9 months ago.
The bed is small to fine gravel with some larger stones here and there.

Search information in internet and books before take fish. Buy big tank if you have money, and water test (NO2 and PH are importants). Plants are important they not are only decorations. |

my brother gave us a small 50ltr and after about 2-3 weeks we upsized to a 4 foot (200ltr) tank! we've since made good friends with the local aqua store cause we're there so often! |

start with the largest tank possible rather then a small one.....cause you will get 'hooked' and upsize!! |

i got given the tank so i thort why not il giv it ago.i started the tank off as a coldwater tank.then a heater was pased down to me so i thort y nt go tropical.i then started to look at sites like this ansaw how nice some of the planted tanks were an then started to spend some cash.i am stil not finished with my tank i want to put sum kind ov carpet plant down if any1 knws a good carpet plant plz tell me,it will be a grate help,an mayby 1or2 nice red plants an just sum more variaty, |
