About Yourself: I really like to see beautiful fishes in a tank.. Its so lovely.. Planning for a bigger tank approx 50 -75 gallons or more.. That's gonna be a real challenge.
Advice: I'm still learning. and each day u learn something from it. Best is to read, ask questions, read and ask questions. Don't trust those shop owners too much, best is to look for Mom & Dad kept shops. they'll supply with good advice and are always willing to give a helping help and or ideas. Read and read and read, and ask and ask.. never stop reading and asking, most people are ready to help or guide you on specific items. I always listen to people and gather on what each one said and i try to compile all into one possible solution, it sure works..
Fish Kept: 2 Mollies 4 Platties. 8 Neon Tetras 2 Bala Sharks (silver) 2 Blue Dwarf Gouramis I guess these would be enough for this small tank. Comments plz. PS: only one dwarf gourami is living now.. all other fish died or "disappeared"?? :(
Plants Kept: I'm buying Artificial for the small tank. I prefer to stay with artificial, until i get a bigger tank. PS: The new tank will be ready beginning January 2007. This one will be a planted tankl, i'm planning on the design beforehand.. I'm planning for a peaceful lake or river setup.. help needed, comments and ideas most appreciated. The tank will be L: 36in W: 18in H: 21in giving me approximately 59GL I'm planning for a DIY CO2, but not too sure on the diffuser part and how to control co2 emmission in the tank. HELP Plz
Tank Size: 16

Advice: Cycle your tank befor adding fish, and always make sure the fish you are getting are compatible. About 1 inch of fish will occupy 1 gallon of your tank. Over stocking is fine in a community tank, but in a planted tank it is better to use less fish due to the room that the plants need. Feed your fish as much as they can consume in 2 minnuts and when adding new plant be sure to make sure your tank reaches their requirments for lighting and nutrients. As far as I would think choosing a planted tank over a freshwater is a better but more pricey choice, one thing it makes the tank look more natural and most community fish would like that, and as long as you keep all the dead plnat leaves out of the tank your water quality will become better. Choose what you want carefully, because if you get stuff that you dont really like, it's just a waste of money. Good luck to all the hobbyists and have fun!

Plants Kept: amazon sword, dwarf hair grass, balansae plant, anacharis, ludwiga plant, temple narrow leaf, variegated japanese dwarf rush, water sprite, roatala magenta
Tank Size: 29
Description: 65 watt coralife aqualight (2.4 WPG), dimmensions are 30x12x18, it is a standard 29 gallon aquarium. Uses Emperor Penguin Bio-Wheel filter (model c) and a Jeagger aquarium heater. Advice: An aquarium is not just a pretty decoration for your living room. It is a living, breathing environment and needs proper maintenance to continue thriving. Take the time to do the research and learn how to set up and maintain. Make sure it is done properly, etc. You will be happier in the long run and so will your fish, etc.

About Yourself: Started with a small 20 litre tank with two gold fishes and one black moor. If not for the fish forums in the internet many of my fishes would have died. Learnt a lot about fish keeping and plants through browsing.
