4ft 120 litre tank. mainly cichlids with some Australian native rainbows thrown in which seem to get along with the cichlids just fine.I like LOW MAINTENANCE tanks that still grab your attention (hence no plants!) and there are some GREAT tanks on this site that meet that criteria. Max out filtration for really happy tank. I'm running a fluval 304, 1200lph power head, eheim cannister filter + 16w UV sterilizer. I can't stop them breeding and coloring up so I guess they're happy. Cheers- |

I haven't tried to faithfully replicate any particular species 'natural' habitat- that's why various rocks, gravel strata etc inconsistent theme. I just wanted an impact that was striking yet very low maintenance. I'm very keen to see what you think of it in terms of appeal. All the best, |

4ft tank with homemade 3D background. 1 marine white bulb and blue actnic light to enhcnce the fishes colours. Several built in caves (with side views) mean the fish have places to hide and feel safe. The fake rock overhangs give a nice authentic feel and great shadows. |
