About Yourself: Have had aquariums for about 25 years can't seem to stop. I must have more !!! LOL Recently set up another 55 gallon African cichlid tank, just getting it stocked. See additional photos. Also have 29 gallon hexagon with South and Central American cichlids.
Advice: Frequent water changes are a must . Clean water equals happy fish. If you're going to keep mbuna lots of rocks are good.
Fish Kept: 3 Pseudotropheus Acei 1m 2f, 1pr cobalt blue zebras and lots of offspring.1 electric yellow lab. 1 red zebra, 1 O.B.Peacock, 1 pr. of Auratus (female currently holding), 2 other misc. mbuna 2 neon jewelfish (I know they don't really belong but they are so cool) 1 large pleco and 2 chinese algae eaters.
Plants Kept: Just a couple of fake ones.
Tank Size: 55
Description: 55 Gallon. Homemade hood with 3 - 4' 40 watt bulbs 2 actinic, 1 10000k full daylight. Magnum350 Pro and Penguin biowheel 160, Penguin 550 powerhead with sponge filter. 250 watt submersible heater.

This is a 90 gallon tank, and frontosas will be the main focus.  Right now they are only about 3' long.  I also have Brichiardis and rubber nose plecos in this tank.

So don't pay the silly prices at your local fish store Sand . 5 kg reef sand. Crushed coral 5kg. The rest plain old WASHED builders sand. Keeps the cost down and adds variety of sizes 2 gaains.

Advice: Im new at this myself but all you need is patience and clean your tank a few times a month so you can have healthy fish.
Fish Kept: I know some people are going to say you should'nt mix fish that dont belong together. What i did was i mixed fish that i liked but were small enough that they did'nt fight with each other. I know this wont work all the time but it did for me.
Plants Kept: I just have fake plants and i bought some feather rocks broke them up in pieces and made some caves.

Description: I think the dimensions on my fish tank are 48x19x13. I have 2 AquaClear 110 filters and a heater. I dont know if i should get anything else. Im up for any suggestions.
