Discus
My 38 Gallon Aquarium, 3 Discus, 6 Tiger Barbs, 3 Chinese Algae Eaters, one Gold Nugget Pleco, and a Gold Chinese Algae Eater. I'm using a Marineland C-Series Multi Stage Canister Filter C-220, the best fiter out there. I personaly think this filter is better then the Eheim, because it allows no bypass, it forces the water through the filter media trays and not around them, all the other canisters allow 40% to 60%.

Advice: Don't ever TRUST PETCO people! They don't know Sh*t! Bunch of dumb kids work there. One guy at the fish department told me it was okay to use the drops for alges, and fin rots and it killed 7 of my fish except for my betta he was the only one that survived....Do the research online on the fish before buying and don't listen to what the petco people say about what's the amount of drops to use, read it and put alittle less then what it tells you to put.

This tank has been filled using hand crafted pieces of pottery which are hollow and provide ample hiding places for the occupants.

The lighting is achieved using seventeen super bright white L.E.D.'s mounted into a custom lid.

The tataouine-esque feel to the tank has led to the introduction of several star wars characters. An interesting concept, the fish seem to love chewbacca!

Quote: Howdy Hey
About Yourself: Well i have a fish tank that has fish in it and i also like to go fishing. i have had a tank for about 3 months but have had others in the past. i moved on to tropical so i can have new species.
Advice: Great fun and you can chose where ever you want something To be :) Very Easy To keep aswell. The Easy Fish to keep are Swordtails, Guppies and Platys and Tetras. All the stuff I have bought cost me about £100 but it was because it was just a tank so i had to get a filter and bits but i easy going tank will cost you around £50-£60 but for extras it will go up to about £70-£80 and then you get fish which can be very cheap. from 50p-£500 but the higher priced ones are usaly hard to keep but discuss i kinda easy to keep but only get them after about 2 years expeirience. i reckon that a decent tank should have some swordtails or some live bearers if you want to breed and make some money, Some Plants, Gravel or sand or stones and some decoration and include obvoisly a filter and a heater. in all all the stuff you need you can get a pack of for about £80 including the tank and equipment. you have to wait for about a week before adding fish.
Fish Kept: 4x SwordTails 2x Platys 2x Hillstream Loaches 1x Wood Shrimp 9x Swordtail Fry
Plants Kept: 1x Cabomba aquatica 6x Ceratopteris Thalictroides 4x Crinum thaianum 2x Cryptocoryne bullosa 3x Echinodorus harbii 2x Hemianthus callitrichoides
