I am 21 i live on my own and find fish to be very calming. I have had fish all my life but not a tank like i do know. Some day when i buy a house my basement is going to have HUGE fish tanks. I want to get in to salt water some day. |

Buy a Kit and get the lights filter and heater all together. If not go to a shop and let some one help you. When you decorate your tank do it the way you want dont let a book tell you what to do....by the way buy a little book about keeping your tank up. |

This is my tank....and yes youre asking this foo has an Oscar, Africans, and South Americans. Well believe it, as a matter a fact they get along fine, its my africans that fight with my africans, my oscars don't even figh with africans,but YES you can MIX as long as you have the space, and their nice personality, and youre also probably asking well the PH????? thast BULLSHIT I have researched and researched and it turns out Africans arent as delicate as you think so they can be in the harshest water (which by the way mines is very clean +good) and they'll be fine so quit yalls bitching aboutl the Ph drama is a bunch of bull !!!!!!!! ANd for those who appreciate my tank THANK YOU.. and for those who don't A MIDDLE FINGER IN THE AIR AND SIT ON IT !!!!! |

I love fancy goldfish. People dont give them enough credit. They are gorgeous fish and very rewarding. They are not throw aways and need large tanks with good filtration. |

Read up before you buy any fish! CYCLE your tank before adding the fish. Do weekly water changes. 10 gallons per goldfish is ideal, more is better. Dont trust pet store employees. |
