My 38 Gallon Fish Tank, 6 Tiger Barbs, 2 Green Tiger Barbs, One White Cloud Minnow, and a Gold Chinese Algae Eater. I'm using a Marineland C-Series Multi Stage Canister Filter C-220, the best fiter out there. I personaly think this filter is better then the Eheim, because it allows no bypass, it forces the water through the filter media trays and not around them, all the other canisters allow 40% to 60%

About Yourself: Some very nice men in white coats came and said they wanted to show me my new padded room.
Advice: Don't ever TRUST PETCO people! They don't know Sh*t! Bunch of dumb kids work there. One guy at the fish department told me it was okay to use the drops for alges, and fin rots and it killed 7 of my fish except for my betta he was the only one that survived....Do the research online on the fish before buying and don't listen to what the petco people say about what's the amount of drops to use, read it and put alittle less then what it tells you to put.
Fish Kept: 3 Discus, 6 Tiger Barbs, 3 Chinese Algae Eaters, one Gold Nugget Pleco, and a Gold Chinese Algae Eater.
Plants Kept: 6 plants, not sure the name of them.
Tank Size: 38

About Yourself: College student. I have 3 ten gallons in my dorm.
Advice: To keep you tank clean perform frequent water changes and don’t feed too much food. I really like feeding my fish, however when ever I feed them the tank looks like a graveyard with very spooky fog that has been put underwater. And by graveyard I really mean graveyard like, like fish graveyard. Yeah feeding too much food is bad for the fish and the water clarity.
Fish Kept: Well my favorite fish is Brain the Oranda. He is the one with the red head. My girlfriend and I adopted him from the pet store since he had swim bladder disease. He has tons of character. He always bumps into things and he likes to swim up the gravel vacuum, which is bad. However he gets tons of special treatment form my girlfriend who hand feeds him. Shes really attached to him, he is like her baby. The other fish are two fan tail goldfish. The calico one is named cactus and the red and white one is named stealth because he swims really crazy like and does flips and dives. Our other fish is Ixi the pleco. She is the cleaner of the tank and is named after our dorm janitor.
Plants Kept: Ummm the tank has 10 bulbs only three have sprouted though. I dont really know what they are.
Tank Size: 10
Description: This is only a 10 gallon tank. There are two 15 watt incandescent bulbs. Penguin 350 biowheel..

About Yourself: I really like to see beautiful fishes in a tank.. Its so lovely.. Planning for a bigger tank approx 50 -75 gallons or more.. That's gonna be a real challenge.
Advice: I'm still learning. and each day u learn something from it. Best is to read, ask questions, read and ask questions. Don't trust those shop owners too much, best is to look for Mom & Dad kept shops. they'll supply with good advice and are always willing to give a helping help and or ideas. Read and read and read, and ask and ask.. never stop reading and asking, most people are ready to help or guide you on specific items. I always listen to people and gather on what each one said and i try to compile all into one possible solution, it sure works..
Fish Kept: 2 Mollies 4 Platties. 8 Neon Tetras 2 Bala Sharks (silver) 2 Blue Dwarf Gouramis I guess these would be enough for this small tank. Comments plz. PS: only one dwarf gourami is living now.. all other fish died or "disappeared"?? :(
Plants Kept: I'm buying Artificial for the small tank. I prefer to stay with artificial, until i get a bigger tank. PS: The new tank will be ready beginning January 2007. This one will be a planted tankl, i'm planning on the design beforehand.. I'm planning for a peaceful lake or river setup.. help needed, comments and ideas most appreciated. The tank will be L: 36in W: 18in H: 21in giving me approximately 59GL I'm planning for a DIY CO2, but not too sure on the diffuser part and how to control co2 emmission in the tank. HELP Plz
Tank Size: 16
Description: Small 2 x 1 tank doing 8 - 10 gls. River gravels (colored, white and mix Big)
