Quote: Dont be cheap if its somthing you need.
Advice: Start slow and let your tank establish itself. Cycle! If you get a new tank use at least half the water from your old one, makes things alot faster and safer for your fish. If you use alot of gravel as a base you can get a good nitrate/ nitrite cycle going. Tank will only need a 20% water change and filter clean every 2-3 months. And a good clean every 2- 3 years.
Fish Kept: 2 x Angelfish large breeding pair, 1 x Bristlenose Catfish, 5 x Tiger Barbs
Plants Kept: All fake silk plants, and plastic grass. Was spending $100 per year on replacing live plants due to angels dismantling them. This is much easier and always looks great as long as your tank is stable (no algae blooms)
Tank Size: 26
Description: A5 Dalbarb Octagonal Tropical tank. 46 x46 x62cm. 2 x 8w 6000k Fluro and 1 x 8w 10000k Fluro, all digitally timed. 600LPH internal 3 stage filter, 100watt heater. Been running for 8 weeks since moving house.
