About Yourself: Been in the hobby for about five years. My very first fish was an Oscar. Then moved over to the freshwater comunity tank. I then went on to African Cichlids, then made the move to fully planted aquariums, now I am a owner of one 26 gallon bowfront planted aquarium, and my 46 gallon bowfront reef aquarium. I love bowfronts!

About Yourself:

Cleaner Shrimp Video

I got into the hobby by a close friend. Basically he bought me my first fish. A betta, red, blue and black. After that i got into south american ciclids, Jack dempsey, oscar and others. soon graduated to brackish fish, needle nose gar, datnoid, puffers, scats, bichirs (not brackish, but adaptable)knife fish. Then i got a job at the local pet store. I learned the basics to salt water and gradually increased to a preportional size. Now i have a couple of years behind my belt in aquatics, Salt and fresh. But there is so much knowledge to be had and developed, i will never stop learning. I love to encourage and give advice to new reefers I have a small buisiness setting up and servicing reef tanks and love to problem solve. About Yourself: A very costly hobby, but one we can always do together
Advice: My husband had a reef tank years ago. We just started up a new one again a several months ago and absolutely love it. It is a great hobby you can do together. Flow ! Flow ! Flow and lots of live cured Rock!!! Salinity and temperature, because one wrong element can ruin your tank. We feed alot so all of our starfish live for several months, also not everyone can keep a flame angel, coral beauty, purple and yellow tang together in the same tank so luck was on our side (IF YOU DO NOT LIKE OUR PICTURES THEN YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LOOK AT THEM, BUT VOTING 0 IS VERY NEGATIVE ON YOUR PART) PLEASE JUST MOVE ON - THANKS!!!!
