Juvenile imperator angelfish.
Image captured at local fish store.
One day I will set up a tank for these stunning fish. |
| About Yourself: |
I'm crazy in love with fish.
Google "Future-PhD" for my fish photography! |
| Advice: |
It's a good idea to research fish species before choosing fish, and join forums, read books, ask questions, and definatly learn about water chemistry before you set up. Give "fishless cycling" a try. |

Minimum of 2 HOB Emp 400's for each tank, no matter what size. All natural materials for decore, still experimenting with lighting (since this catagory is the costliest) but cheep-o fixtures with white fluorescent tubes are all I can afford. Rocks are still free -- thank god. |

| About Yourself: |
A very costly hobby, but one we can always do together |
| Advice: |
My husband had a reef tank years ago. We just started up a new one again a several months ago and absolutely love it. It is a great hobby you can do together. Flow ! Flow ! Flow and lots of live cured Rock!!! Salinity and temperature, because one wrong element can ruin your tank. We feed alot so all of our starfish live for several months, also not everyone can keep a flame angel, coral beauty, purple and yellow tang together in the same tank so luck was on our side (IF YOU DO NOT LIKE OUR PICTURES THEN YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LOOK AT THEM, BUT VOTING 0 IS VERY NEGATIVE ON YOUR PART) PLEASE JUST MOVE ON - THANKS!!!! |
