About Yourself: "FRAGS 4 LIFE"
Advice: I find the most trouble with fish but certain corals have been tough as well. Just choose wisely and research your purchases before hand. Try and find a shop that you like and feel comfortable buying from. I hate shops that push items on you before even asking what you need.

Nano is simple and easy to maintain, my aquariums have done well over the last 2 yrs. I find the most trouble with fish but certain corals have been tough as well.

Description: .Hey everyone this is the start of my my 100 litre (25 Gallon) AquaPro Seamless marine tank, I'm pretty new at this so any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. Filtration is taken care of by a Weipro SA-2014 venturi driven protein skimmer which is fed by a Mozoo 2300 litre p/h Powerhead, Theres also a single AquaOne cannister filter rated at 1200 litres p/h but cut back to about 500 litres p/h to feed directly into my Teco TR-10 chiller with built in heater and Uv Sterilizer, Plus theres about 25kg Premium Live Rock. I have recently added a small homemade macroalgae refugium mounted in the hood lit by a single 15w 10000k power compact light.(My nitrate levels dropped from about 40/50ppm to undetectable in less than 3 weeks after the refugium was installed. Lighting is accomplished by two Catalina 50/50 55watt power compact tubes in Aqualina housing plus two 2.5watt blue cold cathode moonlights.

Quote: Live for today.
About Yourself: I got into the hobby back in 2001 in the summer between high school and college. I got a great deal on a 40 gallon Eclipse setup and slowly built up a beautiful functioning marine setup. 3 years later that entire setup was stolen by my landlord (long story) and I've been without ever since. Now, 3 years after that, my father-in-law is tired of taking care of his $20,000+ marine haven and passed the responsability onto myself and his son. We've been in charge of this tank for 3 weeks now (Jan. 22/07) and I've got to say it feels amazing to stick my hand into a mini saltwater world again... especially one this beautiful!
Advice: Be patient and take your time. Although it's tempting, resist the temptation to throw a bunch of fish and corals in your newly devoloping tank.
Fish Kept: At this time, our sad list consists of: 1 Percula Clown fish 2 Yellow Tangs 1 Squirrelfish 1 Blonde Naso Tang 1 Blue Devil Damsel
Plants Kept: Gold Maxima Clam Star Polyps Mushroom Polyps A white one A coral that looks like a mutated hand (if any knows please let us know)
