About Yourself: I have had freshwater fish over 33 years and saltwater fish about 3 ears.
Advice: Don't rush into anything. Give the tank time to settle before introducing things and keep the water clean and the flow strong.

Advice: Setting up a marine reef aquarium setup requires lots and lots of knowledge . One must be prepared to spend a great deal of time and effort studying water chemistry and fish & invertebrate biology. A reef tank takes a long time to mature so you need to build the eco-system in the tank which is sustainable, ensuring that the system is able to support itself before introducing more livestock or more sensitive species. So never overstock and always be patient.

About Yourself: I started as a cichlid hobbyist, turned breeder. After breeding 50 or so species of cichlids I tore down my 30 tank/1000+ gallon fish room, and built my dream in-wall reef tank in the summer of '07. I now spend hours at a time pressed against the glass of my reef.
Advice: It's cheaper and less frustrating to do it right the first time than to upgrade later. Learn Latin.
