You can never have too much live rock, get the biggest pump your sump/drain can handle, and remember head height when choosing a pump. A 900 gallon per hour pump may only do 700 at 4 ft. |

READ READ READ, either you do it before, and prevent the problem, or you do it after you make a mistake and are trying desperately to avert an absolute catastrophe (this is not fun). My 150 gallon all glass aquarium. The tank is 6 feet wide by 28" high and 18" deep. My lighting consist of a combination of power compacts, T5's and Vho's. My sump is a 120 gallon 6 feet long tank. Twin pumps act as a return to the main tank and over 3000 GPH of flow in make tank. |
