This is an Oceanic 58 gallon Show Tank. The substrate is sand and rock and there is a nice piece of driftwood in there. I found all of the large rocks and driftwood in a local stream. I have a 15 year old Tetra Whisper 3 power filter, a new Marineland HOT Magnum 250, Whisper 300 air pump, and a Penguin 1140 powerhead running in the aquarium. I also have 10 LED Moonlights rigged up for night... I highly recommend these! You can find them for cheap on ebay... |

Resist the urge to add fish too quickly! Don't overfeed! Your fish should always look hungry. Buy a master test kit and use it! Don't neglect water changes for the health of your fish and tank! Keeping your nitrates low (below 20 ppm) will help control algae! Water changes are VITAL in keeping a succesful aquarium! |
