Advice: Do weekly water changes! no exceptions! do tons of research before getting started and before buying any fish.

Advice: Iam still kinda new to it myself only in for 2 years. But I can say from some mistakes I have made. Go bigger with everthing than the size of you tank. And set up a Q-tank lost a hole tank of fish due to a puffer with ick and velvet. Do water changes I do two smaller ones a week due to fish load , in stead of one big one.All levels are at 0 . Trying something new as of 8/22/06 useing a 20 gallon long as a refugium so i dont have to do as many water changes.$$$$. Will update to let know how well it workes.
Fish Kept: red volitan lion fish, Naso Tang , blue jaw trigger, blue damsels,bluefin damsel, , princess parrotfish, Bicolor pseudochromis, diadema pseudochromis, green chromis, yellow wrasse, diamond watchman goby, snails ,blue legged crabs , coral banded shrimp, crocea clam,brittle stars. 160 lbs of live rock and 80 lbs of live sand and 80 lbs of crushed coral.
Corals/Plants Kept: . brain coral ,blue and green mushrooms, green star polyps, xenina, long tentacle anemone, bubble tip anemone. button polyps ,bubble coral 100s of little white feather dusters.
