Description: This is version 2 of my original planted tank, designed rather than evolved by accident. It's been running for 8 weeks now, the stem plant growth is out of control. I've used pool filter sand at the front, the cories seem to like it, red jasper rocks keep it seperate from the eco at the back.

Description: My 40 gallon planted freshwater aquarium. I only discovered Takashi Amano after I started. Next time I'll try something in his style. Not a bad first effort though :-)

Description: This pic is at 4 weeks old. Plants doing very well in the Tetra Complete substrate (with sand and grit) and feeding once a week with Nutrafin Plant Gro. 08-12-07 (8 weeks) - will need to get a new pic as the plants are much bigger now. The Star Grass on the rear left has been chopped back once already.
