 belive in natural. everything in my tank is real. Though Fish do not like artifical so stones, plants, and gravel are all real ones. Its a 2 x 1 x 1 tank (15g). Crystal clear Glass and water. Well I have two discuss Fish just 2'. They are young.

This is my 6,foot 450,litre American chiclid tank. its 6ft long, 2 foot high, 1.5ft deep.
It has some large amozon swords, large peices of drift wood at either end of the tank. A large boat thats broken in half in the center. Oh and a white skull the size of a small ball that the largerfish roll around the tank.

Fish-: 20cm texas cichlid, 20cm salvini cichlid, 15cm green terror cichlid, 12cm jack dempsy cichlid, 10cm covict cichlid, 12cm red jewel cichlid, 
22cm sailfin pleco, 15cm red tailed black shark, 18cm synodontis eupterus catfish.

2000lh aqua one internal filter
2000lh aqua one external canister filter

Heres my tank it hasn't been going long but I like it so far.
Backing is done with slate tiles from the hardware shop.  I siliconed them inside the tank.  After a year they dont look as nice anymore as they are covered in algae, but still quite nice.  Baby fish like to hide in the cracks and survive quite well.  New platys are always turning up.
