Advice: Once I read that this hobby is like a sport car, the faster you go the harder you crash, so
Don\'t rush in, let live rock cycle well before you start introducing live stock and choose the wright gravel
Try get it wright the first time so you don\'t change things in tank when there are fish and corals.
A good filter with good flow, a Protein Skimmer that makes his job some live rock and everything will run smooth with the wright water parameters and without adding to many gadgets.

About Yourself: I had a freshwater tank as a kid that was all cichlids, and my girlfriend got me back into it with this 29 gallon tank as her Christmas gift to me a few years back.

Fish Kept: Multiple species of US Native stream fish: Darters, Shiners, Madtoms, and others. I have roughly 75 fish in the tank
Corals/Plants Kept: Every rock in the tank was specially picked and unique in it's own way. From iron banded sandstone to Quartz Geodes, there is a great array of rocks in this tank. I hand selected all these rocks based on their unique qualities.
