You can't see it that well....but I have a planted canopy on the right side of my tank which is the effort of careful pruning and gives the tank a rain forest look... You can see my rainbow praecox, gourami, and siamensis swimming.

10 gallon Brichardi Tank. Lake Tanganyika set-up. It's rather plain, but that seems to be the way they like it best. They seem to hide & act more timid when there are a lot of rock & plants. They are much more active the less stuff in the tank, probably because there are less places a predator can hide :-) I just redid the tank, took out the small stone substrate & replaced it with black moon sand. It really shows off their color! The jars are full of crush coral & shells to help keep the Ph high.
