Planted Tank Wizard - Rate My Fish Tank

Use the wizard below to get estimates of a planted tank's needs. The multiples below are based on aquarium rules of thumb, which are often ever-evolving. You can change the multiples below according to your own experience and research to help guide your planning.

What size tank are you purchasing?:	gallons	Multiplier

Stand and floor - should each support:	lbs. of weight
Gravel and heater - tank will require:	lbs. of gravel
	watt heater needed
Filter - should turn over:	gallons per hour
Fish allowance - tank can support:	inches of fish
Lighting - tank will require:	watts of light (2 watt per gallon for
	plants - 4 for vigorous growth)
Water changes - tank will require:	gallons of water replaced every 2 weeks
