so the other night i came gome and my beta was dead on the bottom of the tank, my water conditions are perfect. ammo, mitrite, nitrate are all at 0 and PH is 6.4 chould it be the hydra that are in my tank possibly
he did kike to hang out in the anubus plant that has some present?

He may have died of old age. If he was 3 inches he was an adult for sure. The Betta sold in stores are often 12-18 months old, adding that to your 8 months, he could have been over 2 years old, which is on the young side, but still within the "average" lifespan for a Betta. Sorry the Betta died though....
