how does this tank get cleaned? It looks really neat but I can imagine it would be a pain to get the gravel syphoned (sp?) and what-not....

that is the neatest tank i think i have ever seen, i want one, i don't see that siphoning the gravel will be that big of a deal each of the top bubbles appears to have a direct shoot to the bottom ones so that with an extended siphon hose and handle one could effectively clean the substrate, as well as i am sure if they are as ingenious with the design of the tank they have probably come up with a tool to keep algae down.

I actually saw this on Attack of The Show a few months ago. Very cool. I emailed the company for a quote and got an email back the other day actually.
Right now they only have a Euro Exporter. It's about 2200 Euros and that includes the stand and everything.
You can also buy it without the filters and stuff for a cheaper price.

They also can setup a maintainance service for you if you do not want to clean it. But can be easily cleaned through the top 3 sections.

lol...my boyfriend's mom keeps trying to get me to take her 2 habitrails as she does not have hamsters anymore and they're just taking up space in her garage. I'v already invested in a pet that wont live longer than a few years and im not about to get anymore.

how exactly would someone go about cleaning the tube between the bottom two bubbles? And if someone says that tube won't get dirty i beg to differ... with the little amount of current running through that thing, i can imagine loads of debris building in there... much less algae.

Notice the video doesn't load... and that all the pictures are rendered, not real. I was looking closer and it looks like the gravel from the top bubbles would slide down the tubes going down, so you woulnd't even be able to fill up the top bubbles nicely with gravel like shown in the renders.

Sponge: Malaysian Trumpet Snails, ftw. Just a guess. You're possibly already familiar with them, I have probably well over 100 in my tank, but you'd never know it until I turn the lights off for at least an hour. Here's a good example of what they can do to algae:
