I used to have 260 pc lighting over my 55 now i have 2 250 15 k metal halids how should i acclimate them i heard that you can leave the lights on for an hour a day then after each day add an hour. Would that be sufficient?
i would go with atlest 3 hours of mh and 4 to 6 with the actinics for the first 2 days then raise a hour every couple days day.you will probably only need 8 hours a day with those lights. and it is a huge jump from what you had..your corals will love you man
