ok question my big 125 gallon with my jaguare jacks african green terror some one said to me feed ur fish only 2 to 3 times a week wich i do keeps aqarium cleanner,and they dont grow so fast, now thoes are big fish what about comunity fish if i feed my terras 2 to 3 times a week i feel like im straving them so every onther day is ok? how often do u guys feed ur comunaty fish?
Feed community fish 2-3 times per day. Only feed them what they can consume in 2-3 minutes. This will ensure that you do not over feed. It is better to feed them several small servings throughout the day than to serve them one big one.
Yep, just make sure that you don't feed too much at each individual feeding session. I feed mine before I go to work, when I get home, and before I turn out the lights. If you are used to feeding once with the one time being a large feeding, it may take a bit to get used to. It took me a bit because I used to feed once a day as well.
Feed them flake once a day at night time an hour before the lights go off. Every week feed them bloodworms or brineshrimp. if you have a pleco feed him a wafer once every 2 days. Every months feed him or her a cucumber piece.(cut up the piece) then with a rubber band rap it around a decor and put the cucumber on it.
Do not feed them once a day. This is incorrect. Also, not all fish have digestive systems that are conducive to bloodworms and brineshrimp. It is irresponsible to reccomend this so generally.
ya i knew that ive been feeding my 10 gallon 2 to 3 times a day very littel fakes but my big tank i feed only 2 to 3 times a week and yes i do put waffers in for my 12"pleaco but my jack thunder eats it so i put it in where he sleeps lol well hes getting food bc hes geting bigger
all of my tanks are overstocked... so i feed them 2-3 times a day becuase some fish might eat, and some might not... so i stop feeding when i see each and every fish eat... fish in the wild eat non stop... they're always either hunting or grazing...
i don't do the live feeders though... might be better... but bah... i give them selcom and garlic gaurd to give them the calcium they aren't getting in processed foods...
