the funny thing about this is I guess spotted dick is a triditional english dessert I did not know this i Run an english pub and one of the servers told me that they had a request for spotted dick on the menu i thought he was f'in with me ......
im sure you know alot of this already but when i was in high school we had an english exchange student and she told us about some of the differences in language and actions that where kinda funny
like
a cigarette is a fag
drunk is pissed
two fingers in the form of us useing the middle finger is the same thing {pointer and middle finger for them}
other cultures are different as well....like if you show arabs the bottom of your feet , thats like flippin em off.....................if you point at something {like a neclace} they are obligated to give it to you..................side note, i pointed at every Mercedes i saw over there ..............to no avail, lol
