I haven't read anywhere yet why a fish would lose it's color. I am cycling with a couple of Dams. Is it possible the rise in ammonia stipped the dam of it's color. and will it return? Goof info for the future even though i have no intention of keeping them in the tank.
Holy sh^%. I went back to the tank 5 min after i posted this and realized the fish looked normal color again. I guess when their sleeping maybe something biologically is going on in their body, am I dillusional???
at night time it seems that some fish fade. my tellow tang would do that once the light turned on the fish would be normal in color in a few minutes. if they are faded all the time i would change there diet.
