Seems like a good idea to me... What do ya'll think?

Even if we were charged $1 to register it would still be enough for some sort of prize for each winner.

Cool incentive to make a better tank...bad follow through with a truly crappy economy. I already pay enough to create mediocre tanks. lol

Make it the top 300, and I'll think about it. lol

i wouldn't mind a prize for the top rated freshwater fish :) but we have to do something about the #1 spot, the rating of that picture is completely wacked... i wrote the webmaster about it but never got a reply. A picture needs a rating from 1-10... not in the hundreds, so looks like a glitch to me. Once the hiccups are fixed, i think we can look closer at prizes.

I like it at first glance, but I think we'd lose members. People already get upset when their tank is rated unfairly without any prizes involved. I would imagine that people would be really angry if there was something to win, especially if they had made an extra effort.

Hmmm, ah yes, Bug. I now consider it a personal accomplishment when I can bring home 5 fish and still have 5 fish a week later.

Every morning I hold my breath and count fish....1, 2, 3, .....

and some people will just get really nice tanks off of google images and fake it being your picture... but it would be nice
