i know this has been touched on a few times but im just so used to coarse crushed coral when cleaning. To get the detritus off sand (without sucking up sand)i guess you should stur each area up that your working on. Just want to make sure it wont cause a problem with params,...??

buy a sand sifting goby, he will keep your sand perfectly white and clean, he will eat everything up, then after that, he wont allow anything else to build up on the sand, if you look at my tank pictures and click the one of my clam, you can see how dirty my sand was, then click the picture of the goby, both pics were takin in the same spot of the tank, i just moved the clam becuase goby was dropping sand on him, but you can see the amazing job he does cleaning.
