arrow crab seems to be picking on my haitian anamone until it shrivels up to about the size of a 50 cent piece. is the arrow crab just cleaning something or do i take it out or what......
Samik - - seems to be a reef safe species...only thing i can think of by the description given on the above link is maybe he is haveing trouble finding food ,or doesn't like what your feeding him as much as the anemone - - doesn't fix your problem ....but maybe you can try something different in the food area - - find something that tastes better than anemone, lol good luck ....keep us posted , Snowboss
i try feeding my shrimps arrow crabs hawkfish etc. mysid shrimp. and my anamone krill and i occacionaly give the others small bits of krill so maybe he is just trying to get more krill??
could be ...i guess keep a good eye on him ...if he gets real bad and you have another tank he can go to ...wouldn't hurt to give em a few days in "time out" bad crab...lol
