I have a 55 gal tank which has been running for 1 week. I have used bio stabilizers to build the bio filter. I am going to make this a cichlid tank and have selected the following list:
3- electric yellow labs (1m 2f)
3- blue johanni (1m 2f)
3- auratus (1m 2f)
3- orange blotch zebra (1m 2f)

Question 1: Will this community be too crowded?
Question 2: Which fish should be added first?

as far as the community you have plenty of room for all of the fish listed, i would start by adding a few of the diff breeds at one time and then over a two week period add the rest, i also don't see a problem with adding them all at once, you just need to watch the ammonia levels, i use what's called an ammo carb pad, in the filter. it helps great with keeping the ammonia levels down to a min. if you are buying them small you wont have a problem adding them all at once, i like to add a bunch at a time to my tanks so that they grow up together. you may also want to think about peacocks. they are a great addition to any cichlid tank.
Have fun!
Welcome to the addiction!
