Rate My Fish Tank

Hi, Im torn. I want a big tank full of pretty fish and I have two options, a 55-60 gallon chilid or 30-40 gallon nano. At first I was dreaming of a 150 gallon salt but that is not relistic at all for me. Then chilids were more relistic then that but last night I had a dream ( I know it sounds cheesey, but stay with me) of a salt and how wonderfull it would be.........:)................anyway I came here to ask you all for your advise. Pleace give me a price range for a saltwater coral. I have alot of experience with this. Thank you

Depends how far you want to go
My budget was $1500, Im now approx $8500over that. OOOPPPSSS
And still I keep going back to the LFS

Depends on what you enjoy more. Are you going to hold corals? Do you want it easy to take care of? Theres a lot less variables with a fresh tank.......but that doesnt mean its easier.....theres just less money involved. What is your budget?

They are just very colorful freshwater fish. They are to freshwater what tangs are to salt. :)

my stepfather has a ciclid tank and ive never cared for them - -ive always been a salt guy so im kinda bias

you can set up a nice solid 30-40 salt system for 500 -1500 to start with easy - -you can also spend thousands without even thinking about it

When people see a reef tank they get a WOW look at his saltwater tank! But its really what makes you happy. If you want to try your hand at salt.....give it a shot, it is certainly worth it. :)
