Hello!
I am planning to set up a new Aquarium! The desired one will have a capacity of 80 gallons(we are talking about a big size aquarium). I have always wanted Cichlids but also a trionyx turtle!
A while ago I saw in some local aquarium that they kept a small trionyx turtle along with some goldfish and mollies in the same tank! Nevertheless the turtle was really small. Therefore, my question is: Can Cichlids and a Trionyx Soft-shell turlte live together? At least is there anyway they can get along in this aquarium? Perhaps medium size Cichlids won't be attacked? How about keeping plecostomeous or catfish?
Another question, can anyone advice me which filter is the best choice for this sort of aquarium, I was thinking about an Aquaclear 500. seems to be reliable in terms of price and power. Any ideas? maybe an internal fluval is better?
